Morrisville is a borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania located just below the Delaware River opposite of Trenton. What is now Morrisville was once a trading post for the Dutch West India Company from 1624 to 1627. It eventually became a settlement, and was incorporated as a borough in 1804. It is named after merchant and banker Robert Morris.
